How the Silencer Shop Kiosk Process Works

1. Create / Confirm Your Silencer Shop Account
   If you don’t have one, visit silencershop.com and create an account with the email you’ll use for your purchase.
2. Visit Our Fingerprint Kiosk
   At the kiosk, log in (we can help) and capture digital fingerprints. No ink—quick and ATF-compliant.
3. Add Your Photo
   Upload a passport-style photo in the Silencer Shop app (or we can take one in store). It’s tied to your profile automatically.
4. Choose How You’re Filing
   Select individual, trust, or corporate. For trusts, Silencer Shop collects Responsible Person details and generates Form 23s.
5. Purchase & Tax Stamp
   Buy your suppressor/NFA item and pay the $200 tax stamp. Silencer Shop builds your ATF eForm 4 packet using your saved prints/photo.
6. Review & Certify
   When your packet is ready, you’ll get an email to review and eSign/eCert. ATF begins processing after submission. We’ll notify you the moment your stamp is approved for pickup.

Typical Timeline

In-store kiosk visit: ~10–15 minutes for fingerprints (add a few minutes if we take your photo).
ATF processing: eForm 4 approval times vary. You’ll get status emails from Silencer Shop, and we’ll contact you as soon as you’re approved.

Pricing

Fingerprinting via the kiosk is included with Silencer Shop purchases made through us. If you need prints for a prior purchase, ask our staff for current pricing.

No. Silencer Shop is a private platform that streamlines ATF eForms. We’re an independent dealer using their kiosk to reduce errors and speed up filings.
